    Hi there is this teacher at my school who works in the student support centre. she is in a designated lead. i feel like i should tell people my problems. do u think i should speak to her and how do i approach her

    yes, but ask if she is the appropriate person. she will say yes or refer you to someone more suited. You always have your GP as well as childline 08001111 and ofc parents. If its school specific, then be sure to get her to confirm confidentiaity and she wont talk to anyone or do anything without your permission. that way you keep control.

    Email her and ask to make an appointment with her if you don't want to ask face-to-face. Make sure to include something to the effect of "Please point me in the right direction if it's someone else I should be talking to" just in case you've got the wrong person.
