I've just started working at Primark 20hrs a week mon-fri I was wondering that if you work during the week and there is a bank holiday that falls on during the week do you get it off or do you have to do your normal shift, I know that weekend staff have to work and holidays but there's not much info about weekday staff in the handbook

Usually, you have to work. (e.g. If shop is closed you may be doing something else)

But to be sure, I would recommend asking your manager

I used to work there years ago on the weekends and i think weekend staff work bank holidays i know weekend staff work good friday, boxing day and weekday staff work xmas eve and think easter monday.
Just ask your manager to double check also there is a Primark thread in the part time employment section on here you might want to ask on instead.
