I'm struggling to choose between Warwick, York and Lancaster to do their Cyber Security masters. I wanted a course by a GCHQ-accredited uni but I did Maths BSc so quite limited as I don't have the computer science experience for all courses. Warwick and Lancaster will consider my degree ... not sure about York. But I wanted advice from people who have taken the course. Which one is better?

Hi there, I am in the process of finishing the MSc in Cyber Security at the uni of York. It is an amazing course, we had lots of practical sessions in lots of aspects of security (network security, intrusion detection, forensics, malware, pen test tools, vulnerability assessment, cryptography etc.).
I have to say that the MSc has as a prerequisite the good knowledge of programming, due to the fact that some practical assessments had to be implemented using a programming language. For example we had to implement a steganography and a covert channel program.
I would recommend the course to a person with entry to mid level programming and networks experience. The MSc is awesome, you will learn a lot of things and of course it is accredited by GCHQ. We even had practical forensics assessment where we were given a laptop with some disk images to examine.
