    i have been feeling like this for 4 years now and i won't go into what caused it all but i need it to stop and i've been to the doctors twice and both times they dismissed me and told me it was nothing

    but most days now i get panicky a lot and along with exams i am under so much stress and i just can't take it anymore

    it's putting so much strain on my relationship with my gf to the point where she has started having her own issues and i can't help but feel it's all my fault

    Make another appointment. Go to a different doctor if you can. Go in and make sure they take you seriously. Write things down so you don't forget and be completely honest about everything. Tell them it is causing you relationship trouble and difficulty with exams. Say that you can't cope and need help.

    You could also go to your student suport service and ask for their help. Most schools, colleges and unis have some sort of access to a counseling service.

    Sorry your doctor has not been helpful so far. Sometimes they need a real good kick up the bum! Don't give up and keep pestering them until they take you seriously.
