Hiya, I have got a place to study psychology with a professional placement year at Cardiff University (to help in my hopes of becoming a clinical psychologist) but I have also got a place to study a straight psychology degree at Birmingham. I'm unsure what to do because it seems like Birmingham is a better University but doesn't offer the placement year? What shall I do?!!

Uhh, yes, Birmingham does offer a placement year. You can apply for it as part of your degree, but otherwise a small Group (I don't know how many, exactly) can enter it at the end of their third year, mostly chosen based on their grades I believe. But as far as I know, although Birmingham does better in the UK rankings, Cardiff is pretty high up in the international rankings, in pyschology at least.
