Skinny wrists are cute! dont worry about it

I'm sure your wrists look perfectly fine.

Lots of people tend to pick fault with themselves over things which go unnoticed by others! Don't worry about it.

On the subject of wrists, I really don't like them, the sight of wrist veins makes me go all squeamish :frown:

lots of people have a very prominant distal ulna. I think it's quite cool to have skinny wrists. then again in my line of work, they're handy..

Good job I want to be a vet too

Sorry, but this has to be one of the strangest threads I've seen in awhile. :s-smilie: You feel insecure about your wrists? I'm sure there are people out there who have complaints about their bodies which are much more justified. Be happy with what you have and don't look for faults, especially ones as trivial as skinny wrists.

And who exactly are you to judge what body complaints are "justified?" Don't be so dramatic.

I thought most people could fit their hand around their wrists?
hmm...

how can you hvae a 'justifiable thing' to be insecure about? my friends hugely fat but they don't feel insecure, my other friend is pretty ugly and doesn't feel insecure, then again some people have really small things and feel insecure it depends on the individual and if you feel insecure about it then its just as bad whether its something small or big, has the same effect on the individual.

With all due respect, you're the one being dramatic here seeing as you're complaining about your wrists being 'too skinny' as if it's a huge hideous problem. All I was saying is you should put things into a bit more perspective and feel satisfied with what I assume is your otherwise healthy, functioning body.

Of course. I was simply encouraging the OP to look beyond the fact that her wrists are somehow imperfect (I can't imagine they look that much different from anyone else's though) and look at the positives. There are worse things than having skinny wrists, and perhaps by acknowledging this it would help the OP feel less insecure about what is really not that bad in the great scheme of things.

And with all due respect to yourself, I think you should realise the difference between a "complaint" and a "curiosity." If you had read my reply to lessthanthree, you would have seen that I was far from "complaining" about it. I am quite pleased now. At least I'm proud of my legs, bum and tum which most other girls my age obsess about.

Ive got super skinny wrists
I can fit my little finger and thumb around mine with a bit of an overlap.

Ive never really seen anyone else though and thought 'coar shes got skinny wrists' or fat for that matter.

Its not something others notice generally I dont think unless you point it out to them
