Aching foot . . .

I've had a teeny patch of what I think is Athlete's Foot on my sole for a while now. It has not spread, and I have been keeping it dosed up with cream. However, I have noticed a number of tiny, quite hard blisters popping up now and then. Yesterday, one of them burst and a patch of skin the size of my little fingernail is open and sore. It started off acting like any burst blister - it was stinging and a bit raw etc etc - but now the area is reddening and swelling, and my whole foot aches as though I had something deeper wrong, and it is casuing me to limp. It isn't acting like a surface wound anymore, and I am a little worried that it might have become infected.

Any ideas?

sounds painful. go to your pharmasist and see if they can recommend you some new treatment or send you to a specialist.

Going tomorrow, although about something quite different.

I'm padding around the office with no shoes or socks on. Not the best idea, but my trainers are wet and gross from walking though a field this morning.

Does this sound like an infection?
