Weapons technician mechanical RAF selection process info
Hi, I'm looking for any advice and info about the RAF selection process.
Any info would be helpful even more so if it is specific to becoming a weapons technician on the mechanical side.
My ast is 27/04/16 and I was wondering what I should wear(female)
Also, how long on average is it between the ast and selection interviews and then fitness/medical tests.

Good choice in terms of RAF, however not as good for civvy life if you decided to leave. I would recommend LOADS of revision for the AST, as Weapons technician requires 63 (the highest score for technical trades)
I would go dressed as you are going for an interview, when I took my AST most people wore a suit or jeans. There was one lad in trackies and he stood out like a sore thumb.
