R v Barnes

Hii, I'm doing a criminal law moot and I'm the junior respondent
I have to appeal to the court of appeal on the ground that the decision that R v Barnes (2005) 1 W.L.R. 910, is restricted to cases concerning injury sustained during regulated sporting matches.

Any ideas for submissions?? I am so confused as to what to do!
Any suggestions with cases would be helpful!
