Does anyone go to Nottingham or Sheffield for EEE?
I've got offers from both but I'm finding it difficult to decide.
The way I see it, Sheffield has a better student life but Nottingham has better industrial links. Also Nottingham have redesigned their course, any details on that?

At Sheffield you'll mix in with other engineers a lot more and you get more module choice, it also has very new, top of the line equipment because of the Diamond and sheer amount of money that the engineering faculty has at the moment.

Nottingham gives you more freedom to change courses after first year but I don't know much more about it, it could be risky if they're redesigning their course though.

Thanks! So I guess you go to Sheffield. What's the best and worst part of the course?

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
