Hey everyone! Um the main reason about why I posted this thread its because I'm an AS Level student who currently is taking chem bio math , and been wondering if in my A2 I dropped chem and instead just took Math and bio, would that be possible to do? And would that affect me getting into med school?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate any help/reply about this.

No do chemistry since it's important for medicine for most competitive universities and also you have to do 3 A levels

It all depends what you want to do when you leave college. Most University courses will require you have 3 A Levels to make up a certain amount of UCAS points. If you really want to get into Med school then they will want three A Levels not two.

Some colleges also won't accept part time students (mine for example, doesn't), so they may not allow you to drop a subject if you are only taking three. If my college most people take four A Levels for AS, then drop one and have three for A2. Some colleges are different though. Mine are a bit picky as they class it as being part time.

I believe most, if not all, ask for 3 full A-Levels. Many also ask for A2 Chemistry. If you really want to do Medicine then having A2 Chemistry is beneficial.
