Which of the following contains one mole of neutrons?
A) 1 g of 1 1 H
B) 1 g of 12 6 C
C) 2 g of 24 12 Mg
D) 2 g of 22 10 Ne

Bold letters mean Relative Mass
Underline mean Atomic number
2. A
Edit: sorry no it's not!

3. C

Moles of Mg = 2/24 =1/12

12 neutrons in each Mg atom

Therefore there are 12 x 1/12 moles of neutrons = 1 mole of neutrons

You are correct and the REAL ANSWER IN MARK SCHEME IS C
C

One more question

Which of the following compounds has the greatest ionic character?
A) Caesium fluoride
B) Caesium iodide
C) Potassium fluoride
D) Potassium iodide
It will be the one where the two ions have the greatest difference in electronegativity. Fluorine is the most electronegative element so it will be A or C, but I'm not sure which of Cs or K is less electronegative.

but Fluorine is more electronegative than Iodine right?

Edit : OK OK ...i understood...
