I'm a girl, been suffering from this for years now but it's only on the back of my shoulder blades and a bit on my chest. I find it gross and wish I could get rid of it because I'm scared people will judge me if they see it. Is it a big deal?

Honestly it's not a big deal. I've had exactly the same since I was 12. When I was younger I was so embarrassed and horrified, but now that I actually talk about it or don't try and hide it in the summer it turns out loads of my friends have spots/scars on their backs and arms too! It is just genetics and some people are more likely to get it than others. But trust me, I'm sure you look fine!

I'm a girl, and wouldn't care if I saw somebody out in public. Like, at all - to the extent that I doubt I'd notice it, and if I did, it'd be just noticing it, like I notice someone's hair colour.
No-one's going to judge you, and if they do, they have a big problem lmao. (But I doubt anyone will even notice, and if they do, they won't care - don't be afraid!)

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I get super paranoid and only wear tops that are high neck and long sleeved to cover everything. I keep thinking that people will be grossed out and that im unattractive because of them. I've tried everything to get rid of it and it's just killin my self esteem. It's nice to see it doesn't bother many people though, it makes me feel less nervous for future relationships (it would be interesting to hear what a guy thinks)

If anyone has ever had body acne and got rid of it, it would be great to hear how you got rid of it too...
