    From what I understand

    Bank's securitized loans to access liquidity. The advantage of securitising is you access cash now, rather than waiting until the loan matures.

    However, I also read 'securitization enables banks to lend a higher percentage of their deposits'

    Which I dont understand ?

    What do capital requirements have to do with securitization ?
