I completed my student finance application the other day because I am a single mother I assumed like benefits my parents income was not relevant even though I live with them. Did I need to if I live with them?, Does it affect the amount of maintenance loan?

If you have a child then you're classed as independent and so only your own unearned income, the income of any partner and the uneanred income of your child are assessed.

Even if you live with your parents that doesn't matter.
