americans can sometimes find pardon offensive because it sounds like you're saying "per don" and in a questionable manner and it makes them think you are questioning donald trump their beautiful leader as in, per donald, for every donald how many americans?
    yano?
or as if you were to par don and strike him out.
so it's like per don, donald trump and donner kebabs and parring donners so wasting food and they find it rude and highly offensive so don't.
It makes sense so I agree with them on some levels.

When people say "if I were you..." Everything that follows is totally irrelevant because they're not me and will never be me. Plus, it's an invalid hypothesis anyway since it can't be tested.

I hate it - this is mainly from guys btw - when they use different form of ''friend'' when they refer to me like: buddy, mate, lad, young man. call me by my name or say him or his or he ugh

Yea but they should say it in a way that's not irrelevant and/or stupid.

It can experimentally verified, if and only if the "you" is not taken to meant the entire you, which is obviously unique, but a "part of you" which is not unique.

For example, you could be President of the World and I could say if I were you I would do X.

In this case, the "you" isn't taken to be "if I was Peroxidation" but instead "if I was the President of the World". This could then be verified unless obviously there was a criteria that would rule me out of being POTW.

Though, I understand this is very vague and about interpretation. One cannot take objective literal meaning.

Maybe the more accurate term is "if I were in your position"?

Bernie Sanders didn't win the New York primary so I'm a bit disappointed in the 'murican people at the moment.

They do have nice accents though.
