Can someone tell me what the difference between a experience optical consultant and a dispensing optical is applying for a new job

consultant: person who give professional advice
dispensing (from guessing here): someone who prescribes you your optical stuff like glasses or contact lenses. they're the ones who work in places like specsavers and optical express.

consultants often require a degree and years of experience which is why they're paid way more
