Not strictly the use of "safe space" that students adhere to, though. A "safe space" is a place where no-one will challenge your views, criticisise you, or say negative things about you. Can't be any white men in there, either.
The employees, however, were being intimidated in their place of work by rowdy students disrupting their workplace, breaking the law, and being a nuisance. Frankly, if any students try that outside my office, I'll be a lot less civil than those administrators were...

Their behaviour and laughter was pathetic, weren't even willing to listen to the other points of view.
But god forbid anyone laughed at them there would be a **** storm because their "safe space" would be violated.
Honestly, just a bunch of immature snotty kids.
