    Hey!

Getting a part-time job whilst studying is incredibly common. Wherever you end up studying, there should be plenty of jobs for you to apply to, and many which are aimed at students.

In terms of the workload, it is still completely manageable. I used to work 20 hours a week for a part-time job and still had plenty of time to socialize or to study. Granted, it was maybe a bit much, but the extra money can help a lot. Just stay organized and you'll have no trouble at all.

I work 30 hours a week (weekend and 2 weekdays) and I manage, I get Mondays off to do what I want with. I don't get as much time to myself as id like but if you count evenings and the afternoon off from one of my uni days its not too bad. Ive managed to hand in uni assignments and revise for exams around it easily.

it was hard to get the job though, I only got it because I volunteered for 6 months during the summer of first year at the same company. I know plenty of bars that are happy to take student bar tenders and provide flexible work weeks though and I have a few student friends working in fast food who also have it easy with flexible shifts each week due to uni schedules.

Which university are you looking to go to and what course are you interested in?
I study full time at Newman University and I work 3 jobs not including a summer one I do and I have still managed. Don't over think it. It all comes down to time management and balancing everything.
