I really took having a washing machine for granted until it broke on wednesday and having to experience hand washing clothes for the first time.

Those are two other things i took for granted last summer but then our water supply was unsafe for 3 weeks and we had no supply at all for a day, never taking them for granted again.

PRSOM, people are one of the things i learnt not to take for granted years back but wifi is one of those things you really dont realise how much you rely on it until you move house and have no internet

My parents. I love them a great deal and I definitely appreciate everything they do for me, but I did used to be a lot more, "Why don't they leave me alone? Can they stop nagging me and leave me in peace?" I regret that - they care about me a great deal, and that's a lot more than some people get :-(

Also, not being ill. Food. Running water. A house. Luxuries. Health. Opportunity.

On a personal level - my partner. I love him to death and I am so grateful for everything he's done for me but I'll admit, sometimes I am selfish and don't take his feelings into consideration and 'assume' that he'll just always stick with me.

Every day things I take for granted - hot water, electricity, my phone and laptop, a roof over my head, my car, my reasonably good health, my family's health, having money to waste - pretty much everything tbh.
