Hello, I'm an EU citizen and I've been resident of an EU member state for more than 3 years. I would like to attend a distance-learning Master's programme.
Am I supposed to move to England in order to be able to get the loan or can I stay in my state and attend the Master's programme from here?

My understanding is that distance learning funding is only available to people meeting the England residency rules and living in England for their first year.

The SFE team should be able to clarify this when they join us next week.

    Hi

To get a Postgraduate Loan you have to be resident in England before the start of your course (and have been living in the EU for at least three years before the start of the first academic year of your course). If you move away from the UK while you’re studying you won’t be able to keep getting a Postgraduate Loan.
