Sounds like a really silly question....but I'm finding the way I write is quite difficult. I kind of find loads of info and write the full essay up....I then have to type it on to laptop...which can take up to an hour sometimes. I tell People and they say wow your making it difficult but I've tried to type straight on to laptop from my notes made and I struggle abit. I feel like I've constantly missed things and I've rushed. Is this a skill il slowly master? Or do others have different methods?

Personally I like to do a fair amount of my research before I start writing. I write out my references fully as I go along to avoid doing them all at the end, and below each reference I write the quote or sentence I'm going to use in my essay. Once I have 15-20 of these, I start fitting them into paragraphs, linking them together, and then I can clearly see where I need to do more research. I do all of my work on my laptop, with a separate screen when I can so that I can be reading articles while I'm typing. Everyone has different methods though, personally I couldn't work from written notes.

Trying a new method will be difficult at first but it's important to try other things so you know what works for you. If you're finding your current method difficult and you feel like it's not thorough enough then maybe you need a different approach.
