Hi, so I'm wondering what is better BTEC fashion and Textiles or A Level Textiles, I don't know what is better as both will take over your life, but im not sure which one is a better course to take as I would like to go into uni and try getting into UAL in London.

I would recommend the BTEC as you will have practical experience and your skills are more rounded over the A Levels.

But then again, an A level qualification is thought more highly of! It's whatever you want to do, a levels are more exam based, bets are more practical based.

Yeah the BTEC is normally better for those sorts of subjects and will give you a bigger portfolio of work which is what a lot of universities want to see for Art/Design based subjects
