do the a levels that have started the new spec have new content or just all exams at the end of A2? For example the new spec for Maths a level 2017, is it new content + linear exams or just linear exams?

The content has changed though much of it does remain the same.

Maths A level is certainly a fair bit easier than it was 30 years ago. One of the reasons it's being reformed 2 years behind its original schedule is because of the arguments as to what should go in it and whether an element of choice should remain.

Do you know if they ever came to that conclusion? Whether there should be an element of choice?
