I recently received an offer from Imperial and Oxford for their MSc courses and I;m wondering what your opinions are on which to choose?

Only you can decide this, but I would encourage you to look at the course structure and think about the reality of what you will actually be studying rather than 'which Uni'.

My undergraduate degree is biochemistry and i'm looking to transition into finance. I've got an internship with Deutsche Bank's technology division this summer. So i'm taking a MSc course that will prepare me for the job in the future. I'm thinking that oxford MFE is much more established compared to Imperial's F & A course which is relatively new (started in 2013 or 2014?) and hence oxford would hold the advantage. And from what I've seen, oxford's MFE is more theoretical and Imperial's more practical. not sure if that's right.
