I'd never shaved before in my life
I've epilated (most painful thing ever) but only my legs and arms, I would never dare to go down there. I'd also waxed too but again, never down there. Usually I just trim the area or use Veet... but that always leaves little prickly hairs and it itches like HELL.

But I've never shaved for fear of cutting myself

2 days ago I was like **** it why not and trimmed, after 2 days of an excruciatingly itchy lady garden - I ran to the local Tescos and bought a set of 8 double bladed disposable razors for £1 (for men) and some Gilette Men's shaving gel.
I ran into the bath, put on a movie, and began the operation.

I didn't bleed once, I didn't cut myself, I didn't cause irritation, it was amazing. It was all smooth and silky after so I went ahead and did my arms and legs and underarms and honestly it was so relaxing.

I don't understand why anyone would ever put themselves through the pain of waxing/ epilating when you can do this as a wind down activity every night. No pain, and silky smooth body.

    So... why do shavers complain?

Shaving causes me irritation. I use electric clippers now and so far so good.

for some people shaving does cause irritation

if you shave the hair growing back is pricklier than if you've waxed/epilated

shaving enough to keep on top of hair growth takes a lot of time
