The Student Room Group

Customer Service Advisor

I have been invited to an interview by the best connections employment agency. However the position I have applied for is a customer advisor working in a call centre. I've looked at their websites and it states that temporary workers are interviewed by experienced sales consultants and therefore interviewees undergo rigorous selection and The quality of the interview is controlled and assessed by the branch manager. However by reading this, makes me extremely worried and scared since am a 17 year old A-level student with no call centre experience. The employer who rang me up only asked me if i had any ICT related experience. So would it be worth going to the interview or shall i just leave it?

its nothing to worry about, honestly. I had an interview just this morning for a job at barclays for when i finish my A2's later this month, which was done by the branch manager and had a manager from a different barclays bank in the area, who sat in on it just monitoring what was being said. It will be fine, and good luck if you do decide to go along!
