1. if the number of moles of hydrogen ions are: 0.0666
then will the number of moles in H2SO4 be double that number or half and why?
2. Sulphuric acid dissociates to produce 2 hydrogen ions & 1 sulphate ion per molecule of H2SO4.
1 mole = 6.022x10^23 ions/atoms/particles/molecules
So 1 mole of H2SO4 molecules will give 2 moles of hydrogen ions & 1 mole of sulphate ions.

If the number of moles of hydrogen ions is 0.0666.
therefore the number of moles of hydrogen ions in H2SO4 will be double that, so 0.1332

If the number of moles of hydrogen ions is 0.0666 then in h2so4,
2 moles of hydrogen ions: 1 mole of sulphate ions
2* x mole of hydrogen ions : x mole of sulphate ions

so in sulphuric acid it has double the moles of hydrogen ions.

Hope that is right I'm still a bit shaky with moles.

See that's what I was thinking but after doing questions, sometimes they half the number of moles and sometimes they double so I'm jus so confused !!
