Hi! I am moving to uni next September (hopefully) and am interested to see what peoples experiences have been as a member of the LGBT+ community. Any info or cool story's both good and bad are welcome!

A few questions to guide your answers:

What is it like being a member of the uni LGBT+ society? Where you a member of a LGBT society before you came to uni and how do they compare?

What event's/activity's does your society do? How often?

How did you come out to your flat mates? If at all? Was it the first night or a lot later?

What's the mix like between friends you have met on your course, met in halls and met as a part of the LGTB+ community? Where did you make the most of your friends at uni?

    Thank you for any responses!
