Hi. I just wonder which may balls are generally good? Certainly, Trinity and St. Johns are the best but it's quite difficulty to get tickets if you are not a member of their colleges...
What are the alternative options? How about Emma, Clare or so on?

PS: If someone could sell me a pair of Trinity/John May ball tickets, i would owe you the biggest favour ever!!!

Outside the obvious candidates I think the quality of may balls is really a year to year thing, since there's a different committee each time.

What I would say is that I've had a good time at small college balls, not least because they weren't ruined by being too busy.

I heard the one at Essex uni is mad. But be careful. The STI's have evolved, better triple wrap it.
