    so amidst withdrawing from my course, a painful break up and issues with my parents I need a holiday! somewhere cheap and where its okay to go on your own, any suggestions? I just need an escape for a few days!

    City breaks tend to be cheaper and are pretty alright for going on your own (compared to beach holidays where you might feel quite lonely when everyone is partying or sitting at the beach with friends). I'd recommend places like Prague or Madrid where there are plenty of cultural things to do to keep yourself busy, the BA website often has cheap deals.
