EAS - Personal Statement - quick question

Hi!
With EAS [Electronic Application], for the personal statement part of the UCAS forms, are the margins 1.5cm on the left and right, the font size 12 at Times New Roman, spacing "normal" by MS Word standards?

I.e. if I do it in MS Word with the above criteria, and I get exactly 47 lines, I'm okay?

It ain't based on some big font like Courier New [as I heard somewhere]????, cos the UCAS form dun even let you change the font, and it's set to Times New Roman I believe.

Just wanted to double-check

As far I can remember it always turned out different than it did in word. What I had to do was work in word, then play around with it and edit it with the EAS program open. 47 lines on word should be roughly right, but I think I actually got slightly more in.

I seem to remember writing about 50 lines in word and then copying it across to the EAS applet and having to remove a word or two so that it would actually fit. mine ended up *just* fitting in (one more character would have made it too big)!!!
