Should I ask my girlfriends about my worries? I feel that by doing so it'll show a lot of mistrust, which isn't really the issue but it's more that I'm just a compulsive worry-er all together

Depends a lot about the relationship.
How long have you been in a relationship?
How well can you trust eachother?

If she truely cares about you, the whole feminist double standards thing comes in here. She should have no issue listening to your . It may even your relationship.
