I'm finding it really hard! I was doing some of the papers from the old spec and they were easy and I was getting As in them. Then when I tried the new specimen paper I couldn't even scrape a C!

Its exactly the same with me. Old spec papers seem real easy and I get A's in them too. But when they give us questions from the newer specs, there's literally no chance. Its so damn difficult. I got a real good set of GCSE grades and Im worried that they might not mean anything after I perform badly next month. Making me rethink what I can go further on to do in life..

Ahh I'm sure that if you work hard you'll be absolutely fine! One of my teachers said that specimen papers are usually harder than the actual paper because they don't have to meet the same requirements. I'm not sure if that's true but it gave me some hope! If everyone does really badly then at least the grade boundaries will be low.
