I'm coming up to A Levels and have currently settled on studying English Literature, History, and Classical Civilisation (another alternative would be the swap this for RPE). One of my life ambitions is to be a director/screen writer (or just something to do with the film/TV industry), and I was just wondering if Media Studies would give me the credentials to pursue this ambition or whether or not I should pursue this ambition independently and pursue my passion for religion and world culture. I'm worried, however, as my other subject choices (though me being quite talented), are quite heavily subjective and essay-based and I'm worried about the work load. I understand that all my prospective choices are all well respected at university and so I'm worried an A Level in Media may tarnish my resume in some fashion- furthermore, I'm just concerned it won't be academically challenging enough for me and hence may not work well juxtaposed with the subjects listed above. Another option would be to pursue 5 A Levels, though as I have previously stated, I am aware of the workload for some of the listed subjects. Thanks for any answers.
