Hello fellow mates, I have quite an odd question and I am not sure whenever or not I post it in the right place and if I don't break any certain rules on the website so I am sorry if I do.

Currently I am past the UCAS process and a couple of Uni's have given me a conditional offer, I am thinking about going to the Huddersfield since it seems to be a decent Uni and I was there a couple of times to meet a friend so its not a 100% unknown place to me (thought I still don't know it that well). During looking for the accommodation there I have found quite negative reviews about the student village (from DIGS) and it got me a bit worried, I started to think about the other options, however I won't be able to come to the city before Uni in September so I have to choose blind. Can somebody recommend any good place I should take a look at? Or are the reviews over the top?(most of them are pretty old).

    Hey Jakubek,

Hopefully we can help a little

The main accommodation choices in Huddersfield can be found here: https://www.hud.ac.uk/uni-life/accommodation/

We manage Aspley House & Little Aspley House, and Castings House which are both just a 5 minute walk from the Uni. If you can't come visit us to have a look around, we would be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

The other main provider are Unite Students, and they have 3 locations: Snow Island, Firth Point, and Saw Mill.

Like all accommodation, it would depend on your budget and what you're looking for.
