Hey there! This probably isn't particularly applicable to University Life but here we go anyway!

I have been in a long-term relationship for quite some time and both my partner and myself would prefer to study at the same place as each other - especially since we both had coincidentally been planning on doing the same subject (we had determined our course of choice before meeting).

English Literature combined with Creative Writing would be the desirable choice however there is a lot that we need to take into consideration before looking at Uni's, for example:
    - I am predicted AABB for AS and am probably going to be allowed to do four A2 Subjects. He is already certain he will fail History and can't achieve much more than B on any other subject.
    - I want to go to a Russell's Group University while he has concluded that he probably wouldn't make it into one.
    - We want to have a private flat rather than student accommodation because we both plan to work between our studies.
    - He needs access to a skatepark while I need access to a riding school because hobbies are important.

I have tried to push him toward looking at Brunel University London since it fits most of our needs - but where else would be fitting? Anyone else studying with their partner?

One possibility it too look into cities that have a Russell group uni and another uni, which part of the country would you want to live in? As i recon if you were happy to move up north i could suggest many options to you, for example Leeds/manchester/liverpool/sheffield could fit your needs quite well and the rent prices up north are pretty good for 2 bed places depending on where you were looking (between £500 and £650 a month is realistic so at most you'd be looking at 80 a week each which is cheaper than some halls available)
