Painful stretch marks

I've got really painful stretch marks in between my legs. They hurt all the time (even more so when I walk) and they're a much darker red than my other stretch marks. I'm only a size 12 so I wouldn't have thought it's a weight issue. At the moment I'm trying to combat it by applying Sudocrem on the marks every day but I can't see this as a long-term solution.

Any ideas? I would see my doctor but I don't want to in case they tell me I'm just fat (not really what I want to hear).

Not sure why they are painful but try putting Palmer's cocoe butter on them, that will decrease the colour! I had aweful stretch marks but they are now the same colour as my skin so you can only see them if you are really looking for them!

Heyaaa!

I have the same problem. I hate them. Im a size 12 too, but its nothing to do with size, my friend is a size 6 and she has got loads, all over her body!

mine are mostly on my legs, hips and between my legs :frown:

but ive been using body butter from the body shop and bio oil! they are a bit expensive but mine feel so much better, lighter in colour, they are nearly blending in with my skin colour and ive been using them for 2/3 weeks. do it in the morning and after a bath/shower in the night. having moisture there, doesnt make them feel dry, rub together or hurt.

mine were hurting simply because my upper legs were rubbing together, just try to avoid tight trousers or shirts that push ur legs together!

and dont worry about it, because they will fade, and everyone got them. Even my boyfriend on his hips, so hes on the bio oil aswell, i used to be veryy self conscious, but now, just gotta learn to love your body and look after it

good luck x

Thanks.

Today they were so painful that when I was in town I had to buy some footless tights to wear so that my upper legs wouldn't rub together. It was soooo depressing, I was applying Sudocrem all afternoon for extra moisture (didn't really work) and as well as feeling really embarrassed at having to wear something that made me look ridiculous (let's not get into a debate here but I don't like footless tights, they look stupid on me, but it was the only thing I could think of that would help), I also felt embarrassed at the reason why I was having to wear them.

I do have some Bio-Oil but have never used it on those stretch marks, only the ones on my hips and bottom. The ones between my legs have only flared up in the past few days and they're soooo painful :frown:

If you have a costco near you they sell body butter and you get 5 tubs for the price of one of body shops.

Only the stretch marks hurt :frown: it's RUBBISH.

Use talc, not cocoa butter during the day. You need to keep it dry and cool to stop them getting sore. Then you can tackle their appearance before bed.

So talc + walking like john wayne/tights/shorts. If you're going to the beach DEFINUTELY take talc because the salt water and the saltiness just makes it worse.
Vaseline? A bit more oily than Sudocrem so it might stop the rubbing

I used Dermalmd stretch mark serum during my pregnancy to prevent stretch marks and I continue to use it since my skin looks and feels better than ever.
