Does right wing media make up lies about Muslim migrants, or are they the only ones reporting certain stories that show them in a bad light?

Here are a number of stories that only seem to have been reported by right-wing sources:

Gang of migrants demanding respect smash way into Paris school:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=Gang...efuse+to+leave

Arabic speaker slashes French soldier in face:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=%27A...hrome&ie=UTF-8

Migrant told victim "German women are just for sex":

    https://www.google.com/search?q=%22g..._AUICCgC&dpr=2

Three migrants stone two transgender women in German street:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=migr...rome&ie=UTF-8#

18 year old Kent girl alleges migrants gang raped her for three hours:

    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016...ers-dosshouse/

If you click on the links to the Google searches, you'll find close to solely right-wing sources reporting the stories. Do you believe this is all propaganda?

PEGIDA have had so much support since the migrant crisis so reporting these events just adds fuel to the fire.

I've never understood some of the logic of some migrants- They make a big fuss about how they escaped a war but then they come here and show no respect to Western culture.

The right wing media has a tendency to blow things out of proportion.

A migrant stabs a person > All migrants are carrying knives.

A migrant robs/rapes someone > All migrants (and the entire Middle East - because it happened once somewhere 15 years ago) are robbers and rapists.

A migrant is employed over British workers > Don't let anyone in. They steal jobs.

A migrant is beaten up by French racists and seeks emergency care > Look at them. They are a drain on the Health Service.

Do you have any examples of right wing sources making these kind of exaggerations?

I can go one better and point to an example of a person who has lapped up their racist propaganda.

    You.

Ah ha! Very clever! You got me there!

Excellent way of deflecting my question too. I'll assume you couldn't find any examples.

It's a combination of things. On one hand the Right blow things out of proportion and paint everyone with the same brush, while on the other the Left bury their heads in the sand and pretend the same problems don't exist.

I think they report these stories because that's what their readers want to hear. They want to complain and get angry at migrants, Muslims, etc, so the writers will publish stories about these topics to get higher ratings.

Are these stories true? Unless assessed on a case by case basis I wouldn't know. I can't think of any major site that outright lies (though I wouldn't put it past Breitbart) but I expect many manipulate the truth.

This story was reported in the French media.
Here is a link to Liberation, the main socialist newspaper: http://www.liberation.fr/france/2016...itants_1447952

The comments show how much the country has evolved in the last decade, a majority of them now just want the migrants to be kicked out.

The occupation of the high school - which was being repaired - has been organised by some SJWs.

Probably not because instead of questioning the newspaper's and people's views he uncritically judges the world around him based on myths and liberal drivel.
The term "liberal" doesn't really deserve to be dirtied here. I consider myself a pragmatic liberal, but people such as TheArtofProtest are not really any sort of liberal. They attach themselves to a set of agendas and positions that are shared by a large group who pat each other on the back for having them. Together these positions can't really be considered any kind of political philosophy because they often contradict each other, and the positions are not really political theories but rather particular and often disparate right-on perspectives on current issues. The fact these perspectives often contradict each other doesn't bother these people though because they don't think about each agenda or position individually; they simply take them on board as a package, as their main desire is to be part of the group which they call "leftist" or "liberal". They feel these labels show them in a good light, and they like the idea that people will be able to know each and every view they have just from knowing that they call themselves "liberals" or "leftists"; there's no confusion. Of course, there are plenty of reasonable people out there who consider themselves leftists (the late Christopher Hitchens, for example), and plenty of reasonable people who call themselves liberals. But they have little to do with the main, most vocal group of people who love to call themselves leftists or liberals, and who will call anyone who has even the slightest different view on one of their favourite agendas a right-winger (just as they did with Hitchens, Sam Harris, or Bill Maher, for example), regardless of whether it implies anything about the person's views on actual left-wing or liberal political theories. I'm sure that TheArtOfProtest has dismissed me as some kind of mad, BNP supporting ultranationalist. I am not, of course. I'm a pragmatic liberal and a fiscal centrist. The only difference is that I actually value liberty, and understand the paradox of tolerance.

"Less well known is the paradox of tolerance: Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them." - Karl Popper

Eloquently put there, totally agree. This really has been accelerated on this forum.

I think the problem here is non integration particularly with migrants. They haven't adapted well but in fairness but the war isn't their fault and much of western standards are very different to what they've grown up with.

And no, they don't make a fuss, that's very insensitive of you. They probably have family members who died, homes destroyed and have had a tough time and you say they're making a fuss? pathetic. You have a warm house and a future to look forward to, dont let that make you blind about the problems in this world and how we have a contribution to make to help refugees.

That's an opinion not a fact.

So many of the migrants are men of fighting age who have left behind their wives and families. Why aren't they fighting for their country? I believe that's what happened in WW1 and WW2 with Britain.

And I never generalised with all the migrants. I said some migrants.

    The Jews didn't.

    (Well, some of them did).

You forget that people don't want to live in a constant state of war, with no stable income and with the threat of death hanging over their head. So they flee to places where such things would not occur.

I'm not even bothered, you lack common sense and knowledge of what they are fleeing from. There's no one to join to fight apart from the rebels who are getting crushed.

But you wouldnt know that since you're this simple minded.
It's interesting because I've asked you something and you've resorted to insults like you do with other people who challenge you. It's hilarious and childish.

Of course there's nobody to join. Because all the men have run to Europe!

Oh I'm sorry and you know what their actual intentions are? Didn't realise babe why don't you ask the Syrian migrant who groped my sister when she was in Germany? I'm sure I'd LOVE to know what he's been through before he started catcalling random women on the streets of Cologne.

Sometimes right-wing websites make up stories about Muslims, yes. Like that mass child bride wedding in the Gaza Strip which never happened but was "reported" by the usual suspects.
