    What does the abbreviation "csq" mean on the edexcel igcse mark scheme - it says "Mark csq on answers in (a)(i) and (b)(i)" on the chemistry past paper I am doing?

    Consequential

    Imagine the following:
    A = 6/2
    B = A x 4
    If you got 4 for A, you'd get 16 for B, rather than 3 and 12.

    csq means that even if you get the first one wrong, you can still be awarded the second mark, assuming you take your first answer and use it to correctly calculate the second value.
