# really simple moments question Watch

1. I think my brain has gone dead can some one explain part b) of this question to me please, its dead easy but I don't get it

the ans is wx+ F2x2
but I don't get how to get this ans.
the principle of moments states that sum on anticlockwise moments = sum of clockwise moments.

Sum of clockwise moments= Sum of anticlockwise moments
so multiply moments of both sides of the pivot and set them equal to each other

i.e. all moments of the left side= all moments on the right side
