(Sorry if this isn't in the right place)
Hi, I'm thinking of doing the World Challenge in summer 2017, but was told that it's around £3000, and that we should be raising this money ourselves.
Apart from cake sales, does anyone have any other ideas on how to raise good levels of money?![]()

Assuming you'll be doing some form of charity work whilst you're away, perhaps write to various trusts and foundations? I did, and must have got about £800 from it. It takes time and energy but worth the effort!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, but my parents made me really think about it, and I realised that I don't have enough time next year
