I was looking at Physiotherapy courses and i found that at several of the top universities (Nottingham, Birmingham,Southampton etc.) the applicant success rate was extremely low - around 10-15%. I was wondering if anyone could inform me as to why this is and what I can do to ensure that I am successful. Thanks.

It's just a competitive course, as are all the health courses just get as much work experience and voluntary work as you can! Don't worry too much about the success rate, next year people will have to pay for the course and this will put plenty of people off studying! So you should have more of a chance

Teaching is one component of a top ranking university. Indeed, there is also consultancy and research.

To be successful you must listen, learn and pass all your modules. It is that simple.

My academic tutor once said "It's all in the handbook. I wrote it. Do you need me to read it for you as well?"
