Hi all, I currently hold an unconditional offer from University of Warwick for MSc in Engineering Business Management. I have been increasingly interested in business consultancy, particularly strategy consulting. I was wondering if this postgraduate degree is viable for entering strategy consulting? I have looked at both business and operations modules offered and personally think that they will help enhance my business knowledge quite considerably. A little background, I graduated with a BEng from Bristol with a 2:2 (it is unfortunate but I am to blame for my lack of efforts) and am currently working as a sales engineer for a very small company. I will have my last interview at a local strategy consulting firm tomorrow and might very well be offered a project-based analyst position for 3 months.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
