I'm in my second year of A levels and have firmed UCL to do Nueroscience Msci. There's one generic application form for all the UCL bursaries and scholarships and then UCL see what ones you are suitable for. I'm looking at the HSBC Scholarship, the London Opportunity Scholarship, the Unite Foundation Scholarship and the Lloyds Scholars Programme.

I was wondering if anyone has been accepted for any of these?

How does the process work after you send off your generic application form?

Are there any interviews following it, etc. What kind of quesiotns do they ask if there are.

    Let me know!

    Thanks

I applied and was granted a science scholarship back in '11 which they no longer run, but can help you out with the process:

    1) You are given a questionnaire where you put in your A-level grades and reasons for applying and why you should be accepted
    2) They email you post results with a yes or no to being given the scholarship
    3) First week of uni you pick up a cheque

For me there was no interview. Might have change now though.

Okay, thanks so much for the reply. At what point in the year did you apply for the scholarships, is it a little early now, should I wait until say, March?

I applied between acceptance of place and results day. If you've been accepted then apply, if not, wait until then.
