So one of my unis has asked me to declare how much money I'm getting from Student loans which is okay, but they also ask how much money I'll get from self funding and I'm not really sure what that means or what I should put. Any help?

Self-funding means anything you are earning or have put to one side to support yourself, including any support from your parents which is separate from student loans.

What if you've saved up money to cover all 3/4 years of the course, do they want to know all of it? And what about scholarships from outside companies?

Self-funding means your own money. If you're not getting Student Finance, most unis will want to know that you are able to pay everything for the entire course, before you start it.

Money from a commercial loan company would be a loan. Money from an employer or prospective employer would be sponsorship.
