Currently i take Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (Edexcel) & Economics. I am currently looking at an A ( In structured paper only for Sciences & C1 & C2) in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and an E in economics ( Primarily because i find it mundane and rarely ever find myself contributing any revision towards it). Over the summer i am going to self teach the Further maths modules ( looking to get an A minimum) if i end up with 4 A's minimum after my A level would my econ grade still hinder my chances at a prestige university?

Depends what you call prestige, Oxbridge 99% no, but other high regarded uni's would be happy to have you. As M14B said, it depends on what course as well really, although I'm guessing STEM?

I could probably get a high B or low A if i could bring myself to actually study the subject. I just find the subject extremely boring and mundane to to the point where i am not willing to do anything about it.
