    Hello.
I am interested in applying for a master degree at a university in England. I have done two years in my home country( Romania) and I am ending my final year on an Erasmus programme at the University of Reading.

I know that the eligibility for a postgrad loan raises a lot of questions, so I ask the same? Am I eligible to receive such a loan?

On the government's site it is written:

"You may also be eligible if you’re an EU national and both the following apply:
    • you’re living in England on the first day of the first academic year of your course
    • you’ve normally lived in the European Economic Area or Switzerland for the past 3 years (this is also known as being ‘ordinarily resident’)"
    Taken from
    https://www.gov.uk/postgraduate-loan/eligibility

My interpretation of the above statement is that I am eligible because I have lived in an EEA country for the past 3 years. Am I right?

Thank you very much for your help.

Yes, you are right. You are eligible for the loan because you have been living in the EU country for the past 3 years.

I found the following page extremely helpful when trying to find out whether I'm eligible or not - https://www.findamasters.com/funding...ns-scheme.aspx
