    Hi All

Know this sounds like a simple question but how would I go about changing my main GP? When I was born (have multiple health problems) my parents registered our entire family as well as me under a part time GP.. who is more part time than ever :/ problem is as I have found getting older and trying to juggle study/work waiting lists of 8 weeks to get an appointment for medication (i.e. asthma/anxiety meds) to be reviewed is a tad hard..

There are a few full time ones at the surgery, but wasn't sure how I would go about asking to change? thanks in advance!

If you know their names, then pick one and book an appointment with them. Then you can stay with them or change again if you need to.

    1) Go to the surgery you would like to change too and ask if they are accepting new patients.
    2) Fill in their registration form.
    3) Wait for your medical notes to be transferred from your old surgery.

    Simple.
