Eurocamp

Hey,

I've already found one other person going on eurocamp, are there any others going to work there this year?

Or have worked before and can give us newbies a tip or two?

If you go here to a company called Holidaybreak jobs, and you can fill out the form there, and then you get and interview in Manchester and you find out if you have the job. Its a really well set up and was easy to apply for. You get £100 a week plus a tent to stay in and travel from London to the campsite.

Activity Courier, Courier, Children's Courier, Montage/Demontage Assistant (Tent Erecting and Dismantling), Accommodation Courier are the job avaible for 18 + which pay £102 a week plus accomedation and travel there from London. The rest of the jobs are 21 + and earn up to £170.

As has been said... Eurocamp is a chain of campsites where the tent etc is put up already and theres the whole swimming pool and childrens club etc, its a bit easier than normal camping.

the pay is crap. £100 a week minus taxes and you only get 1 1/2 days off a week and they are long days- like 3 hours cleaning a day (how boring), oh and they don't even pay all your travel expenses (i would ahve had to get to london which is like £100 for me). i got offered a job with them this year (would be started on friday if i'd accepted) but i decided i wanted to spend the last summer before uni with my friends/bf. i've been on holiday with them loads of times.

i was going to reapply next year (after 1st year) uni but my parents nicely bought a house in spain so i'm goin to go out there and get myself a bar job or something and probably earn a lot more.

One. The pay is too low to pay taxs on.
Two. It would cost me the same (if not more) to get to London, but I'm getting a lift up.
Three. Any job over there in sunny France has to beat one in the UK.
Four I'm a childrens courier, 5hr a day with the children, 6 days a week (Tuesday off) so thats 30hours a week so you get paid about £3.30 an hour, which ain't really that bad.
Five. It's also an expericance thing, if a future employer is looking at your CV which do you think is more impressive, a summer working at macdonlds or a summer working in France on Eurocamp?
